Workshop teacher: Joanne Doyle

Joanne2

Joanne has been doing Irish dancing since the age of four, and went on to later start her own dance company called Dualta, another members was Breandán De Gallaí. In 1994 Joanne just missed out on the legendary Riverdance Eurovision performance, but joined later the same year, when they needed more dancers. From there it was a straight on success. Only two years after joining, Joanne earned her position as the female lead dancer and kept that spot for 8 full years, performing all over the world.

She retired from touring life in 2005 and moved to Provence, France where she started teaching Irish dance. She still lives there today and teaches alongside other legends, like former dance partner Breandán De Gallaí and also Ronan McCormack, at the dance school Irish Dance 13.
