All dancers who get a first or a second placement in any category at the Intermediate and Advanced competition level can enter the finale/the championship, which will take place after all the solo competitions. Note that in case there are less than 5 persons competing in the championship, the judge can single out people also from 3. place to sompete in the championships. The Championship contest will be danced in two age groups:
- Under 18 (age 0-17)
- Over 18 (age 18-100)
All dancers in the championship will be asked to dance one option of the following:
- Advanced Hornpipe / Slip Jig
- Advanced Hornpipe / Light Reel/Men's Reel
- Heavy Jig / Slip Jig
- Heavy Jig / Open set dance (jig time) & Light Reel/Men's Reel
- Open Set dance
The persons who win the Championships will be the Nordic Champions and each will receive a big trophy.
Note that only inhabitants of a Nordic country will be allowed to enter the championship.
