Nordic Society of Irish Dancers

Embarrassing to admit, but I never actually saw the "Riverdance" bit in the Eurovision Song Contest... My first experience with Irish dance was classes withPauline Bermingham Bye (TCRG) in Kristiansand. I started taking these classes after an article in the local paper. After moving to Oslo, I joined Sound Irish Dance Factory.

I work at the Norwegian Music Information Centre, with sheet music archives and production. I'm also a master student in musicology.

The Nordic Feis 2007 was my first feis, and I was a committee member. I learned a lot from this, and I want to ensure that both NSID and the Nordic Feis continue, as they are the most important contact and meeting points for all Nordic Irish dancers.
